Back in June, London No 1 used Black Cab Advertising for its World Gin Day campaign. The brand has turned to us again to provide branded supa-side black cabs and tip-up seats as part of its pre-Christmas sales campaign. This is a key time of year for the brand and we are delighted to have been asked to assist with their heavyweight marketing and sales push.
Dare we say it but we believe that there are a number of synergies between the London No 1 Gin brand and The iconic London Black Cab. The latter, many know has a London heritage going back over 500 years. However what is less well-known is that London No 1 Gin has been distilled in the heart of London for almost as long, using the highest quality English grain spirit and the purist spring water found in the north of London and a unique blend of 12 botanicals. A quick glance at the London No1 Gin website would endorse the brand’s London heritage.
Aside from the visual presence in London, the cabs have frequently been used by the client for corporate hospitality, as retailers have been wined (or should it be gined!) at the famous bars in London that sell London No 1 gin. It may sound a little overstated, but no price can be placed on the excitement of a client being greeted by a London cabbie and a branded cab; selfies were definitely the order of the day.
Oh, and the final synergy? A London taxi is the ideal choice for getting home again safely, whether it's London No 1 you've been enjoying or not!Back
