London No1 Gin is a rather special gin, and as it is distilled in London, has an immediate London heritage, so when we proposed the idea of promoting the brand to promote World Gin Day, we knew that we were on to a winner. We agreed a plan that involved key staff being collected in their VIP London No 1 Gin branded taxis, and taken to key hotels and bars that sold the brand. The taxis were then placed outside these locations to greet customers and offer them a perfect reminder as to what they should be drinking to celebrate World Gin Day. Now back to that little bit of luck.. World Day was 11th June, and guess who was having a birthday party the next day, and then guess what family's favourite tipple is going back a generation or two?
The result, London was looking at its best as only London can, and some fabulous photography and clever use of social media made the whole campaign a great success.
We can't wait for World Gin Day 2017, and neither can London No1 Gin.Back
