Branded taxis work brilliantly well at events and launches.  They're are a prefect mobile marketing and advertising platform, running around your town or city promoting your exhibition, fair or event.  It’s a flexible option too.  Some clients choose taxis with just a partial livery or supaside, this is cost effective; you get more taxis for your money and they work very well for shorter campaigns.  So if you know that your event's main objective is to create a burst of activity, then supaside taxi advertising is perfect.  If your event is part of a wider marketing campaign or strategy over time, and your taxi is part of that marketing / advertising campaign, then many clients prefer the full livery.  Either way inside the taxi, tip up seat options are also available, providing scope for communication while the passenger is in the cab, staring straight ahead, for an average journey time of 20 minutes.

Either taxi advertising option has its merits.  Whichever is chosen, the taxi really comes into its own on the day of the event or launch.  The taxi drivers are selected and briefed ahead of any campaign and you can be confident in their competence as a brand ambassador.

This recent example of taxis, taxi advertising and events coming together was for the store launch party of fashion retailer Stradivarius.  Stradivarius had deliberately chosen London Fashion Week to host their event.  As part of the marketing campaign they asked Black Cab Advertising to arrange 15 taxis with supaside liveries for the Oxford Street event.  As well as the obvious PR and profile of the taxis around Central London and the West End, the taxis were used specifically to drive guests and VIPs from their hotel to and back from the Oxford Street store.  It was quite a sight when 15 taxis came in a procession down Oxford Street and we caught a lot of the main action on film and produced a short 90 second video.
